Bio of Jerry Mallach

Jerry has over thirty years of experience in the advertising industry in all aspects of publishing, direct mail and free-standing insert (FSI) distribution throughout the US.

Beginning with ad sales, his career rapidly grew to management and executive positions in fast-paced, market-leading publications in NYC and surrounding areas. Currently Jerry’s company, AMJEL Direct Marketing, works extensively with senior marketing professionals from Top US Advertisers seeking to penetrate large geographies with a printed message utilizing solo and/or shared mail solutions.

The building blocks for AMJEL can be traced back to the mid-1990’s when Jerry was named Publisher of “The Marketeer”, NYC’s largest circulation weekly group owned by Newport Media. That masthead reached over 3-million NYC households weekly, serving thousands of local and regional advertisers out of offices in Brooklyn, Staten Island and NYC.

In addition to regional direct mail programs, AMJEL features a unique network of best-in-market publications that reach over 50 major markets throughout the country. The greatest benefit of AMJEL’s program is based on the sound advertising principle of achieving maximum market penetration levels. In our heavily fragmented media environment, direct mail and FSI print programs are the only advertising vehicles that can blanket entire geographies with a targeted message all at once, quickly and efficiently.

Jerry holds a B.B.A in Marketing from Bernard M. Baruch College, City University of New York. He continues to support causes at Baruch and makes himself available to mentor current students. Jerry and his family live in Northern New Jersey.
